A highly creative web designer and front end developer with experience of working on a diverse range of projects from small business websites to large scale websites with a global user base.
Currently working as a lead designer/front end developer and regularly involved in freelance work, I’m constantly developing my skills, experience and portfolio or work.
I am able to meet clients, gather requirements, create concepts and build modern, accessible websites with great user experience.
I'm currently on a fixed term contract and am interested in freelancing opportunities and/or a permanent position in a design agency.

I have also been responsible for gathering requirements, producing wireframes, design concepts and assisting with IA.
I was also the lead developer on the main Welsh Government corporate site redesign project.

Freelance Web Designer (Box A Design Ltd & at various agencies)
I also like to work on freelance projects as often as possible, mainly to keep myself designing, building, learning and earning.
I look at each project as a new opportunity to help a business communicate online and help me expand my portfolio and push my skills further.
I use WordPress for pretty much all my projects from simple blogs to full e-commerce sites.
I also freelance from time to time at agencies in and around Cardiff mainly Sequence and Precedent.

I consider myself a true web designer because I spend almost every waking hour designing, coding, learning, reading, searching or sharing. I love it and couldn't imagine doing anything else.

About this page
Feel free to view source, pop open your inspector, resize your browser or view it on your phone or tablet. I created this page using the following modern web techniques:
- The mark up is written using valid HTML5 code.
- I have used CSS3 to create animations, nice hover effects and to draw shapes (like the arrow bullets).
- The animated bar graph uses jQuery.
- I have used CSS media queries to provide a responsive design across devices.
- The fonts are delivered through Typekit.
