A bit about me
I have been creating websites “seriously” since about 2007. I currently work full time for the International Baccalaureate as a web designer and do as much freelancing outside of that as I can.
I think I first picked up Photoshop and Dreamweaver in about 2002 and just messed around, mainly making sites for the band I was in at the time. That casual hobby has now grown into a passion and in a strange sense, a way of life. If I’m not designing something I’m either learning a new skill, searching for inspiration or simply just gasping at some of the amazing designs that are out there. I also do my best to keep up with movements in the design community and advances taking place.
How I work…
Over the past 18 months I have been working with WordPress and now specialize in it and use it on almost all projects. It’s an amazing publishing platform and can be used for almost anything online. End of story.
I concentrate on producing clean and consistent web sites that are functional, easy on the eye and generally enjoyable to use. I will never ever include any functionailty that is not a necessity and always work with the target market at the forefront of any design.
I ensure regular contact with clients through email and face to face meetings – this ensures that we both know what we are doing at every stage of a project.
Here’s a link to my CV. Thanks.
